Wong Siblings take Baltimore by storm!!

the Wong Sibs and Benson (Korrina's SO) - left to right, starting from the girl...Korrina, Brandon, Benson and Matt.

4 of the 5 Wong Siblings have recently been sighted causing a ruckus along the East Coast of the United States. When interviewed - they stated that their purpose for this trip was ostensibly to visit their sibling Korrina. In actuality, this trip was a culinary adventure to sample the various foods available in Baltimore, MD...Philadelphia, PA...New Jersey, NY and NYC.

For their food adventures - visit the food blog.

The first item on the Wong Family Adventure was the Otakon 2007 annual anime convention held in Baltimore. It's a 3 day anime fest! It was my first anime convention - you can see that Brandon is super excited to be here again. It's his second convention...maybe next time he'll costume up. hehe...

For the most part - we were there to check out the new anime movies, mangas and people watch in general. Lots of people dress up like their favorite anime characters and walk around the convention AND they LOVE it when you ask them for a picture. They usually have a POSE and EVERYTHING!! =) Check out some shots below...

Who said that all anime geeks are dorks? (I think she's supposed to be one of the characters from Mortal Kombat.)

This guy had this huge sword which he broke out into all these other swords. I have no idea what character he was supposed to be. But he had a cool sword. There was one guy that walked around carrying a HUMONGOUS sword with a quote attached, "I'm obviously over compensating for something!!" I thought that was quite clever. =)

This guy is supposed to be Shipo - a fox demon character from Inuyasha.

hehe - Nintendo Wii game controller

Though not technically an anime character - this guy was a GREAT Jack Sparrow! He had the walk AND the accent!!

me - under the gun in the Dealer Room where lots of anime stuff is sold

Brandon and Korrina with friends - Grace, Elfrida and Deb at the Baltimore Pier.

me, Korrina and Brandon - it was a beautiful day!
