I guess that some people in Bangladesh DO have voicemail. But most don't. Apparently - you need to pay extra for that service and most people don't bother. *sigh* How can that be?! =) A friend from home mentioned that voicemail was a Western value. I guess that does make me super WESTERN I guess.
No wonder why people just answer their cell phones in the middle of meetings here! It's not uncommon for folks to pick up their cell in the middle of a business meeting or serious conversation. I found it to be very unusual when I first arrive...but apparently you need to because there's no VOICEMAIL!! =P
