Many Bangladeshis cannot pronounce the letter "p" - they make an "f" sound for the letter "p".
So - this lovely apple pie which Elli's housekeeper made for us one evening was presented to us as "Affle Fie".
Regardless of what it was called though - it was the best apple pie I've ever had. And I don't usually like apple pie!
