You know that you're back in Bangladesh when you reach down to instinctively scratch an itch and find that you've just been bitten by something!
The rains are starting - earlier this week in a village outside of Dhaka, 3 people were killed and 13 people injured when several trees were blown over by winds and ripped out of the moist soil from the rains.
The mosquitoes are definitely less in the rainy weather - but unfortunately not all gone. =(
** another comment of note: you know you're in a Muslim country when it is difficult to find/buy tampons in the regular stores. (I guess it's just not commonly used in Muslim countries. I mean, think about the instructions for use.)
